Quality Assurance

Suhani Agro Industries has proceed a long way in standardizing the herbs used in manufacturer. By now it has successfully standardized 350 of them. This help in assuring the correctness and aptness of the herbs sourced. Which in turns to help to bring out thoroughly standardized high quality products.

Herb authentication is a quality assurance process. That ensures the correct plant species and plant parts used as raw material for herbal medicine. The proper authentication for herbal raw material is critically important to the safety and efficacy of herbal medicine. We carry out identification and authentication of Botanicals, medicinal plant and raw herbs.

Characterization of extract and evaluation of product quality is done using an array of modern technique such as HPLC, GC , AAS and other chemical analysis methods.

To comply with the varied quality requirement globally, the analytical R & D and Q.C. ensure the quality of the finished product with regard to :
• Bio active content (Assay /Purity).
• Limitations of heavy metals, residual solvents.
• Other physical and chemical parameters as per the specifications.

Quality Standards

Suhani Agro Industries give more emphasis on checking the quality of natural herbs and herbs supplements to ensure the supply of only high quality product in the market. Once a product has been produced, it undergoes a series of tests to assure consistency, quality and potency. The finished product is audited by inspector for bulk weight, liquid volume, plate count, bottle sealing and legible lot number, sample are then given to the Quality assurance labs, so that scientists can complete testing according to finished product specification.

After all the processes have been completed and the product has passed the inspection QA will release the product. The batch record and a sample of the finished product are retained for future reference. If a customer has a question about a product QA can refer to the retention sample of the lot in question.
